My Husband Justin Monck and myself Tina Monck own and run  JT Monck Farms.  Our mission is to bring quality animals to families across NC and surrounding states.  We fell in love with the two breeds a little over 2 years ago (2021) and decided to become breeders.  Lottie was our first Dachshund, and she stole our hearts.  Thor our Great Pyrenees was the first of his breed to live here as well.  We were completely hooked!  They along with all of our other animals on our small farm are very well loved and cared for.  Great Pyrenees are excellent livestock guardians or if you are like us, they are excellent family pets as well.  They are referred to as gentle giants for a reason.  They are truly that, and the absolute sweetest breed.  The Dachshund is excellent in their own way as well.  They are sweet and protectors, but not a super barky breed.  They are happy in their families’ laps or an adventure.   I am sure you will be hooked as well if you come to the farm to meet them!
